i wrote this song in late 2022 and it changed a lot over the course of writing it. in an effort to be a little more light-hearted in my writing, i wrote this song to poke fun at myself a bit, for how easy it is to catch myself falling into an abyss of judging the things & people you see online, and all the while doing nothing exciting myself, a sort of salty envy of the highlight reels you see on social media. maybe that makes sense, maybe not, but i'm really proud of this song, and i'm so excited to finally have it out there!
